Resumen
Development of a method from the dance technique that contributes to the relief of pain caused by degenerative osteoarthritis, begins by motivation of a personal experience diagnosed with the disease in 2010 as a result of a hip fracture that currently hinders the dance practice, this reason drives to want to generate a method that helps to structure a training able to be functional for dancers with the same medical condition (Monica Acosta Quevedo). The aim is to raise awareness about the disease seen as a new possibility of movement and not as a problem that makes it impossible to practice. Degenerative osteoarthritis is a congenital medical condition that normally occurs in people over sixty years of age; however, cases have now been identified in people of all age groups. In dancers it is a recurrent disease that deserves an analysis and study to develop a method to help improve the quality of life of those who suffer from it.
