Resumen
In Colombia, for many years the energy obtained in a conventional way, have impacted unfavorable to the environment, since its emission of greenhouse gases - GHG contributes to global warming and therefore to climate change; That's why it's necessary to obtain energy from renewable sources, environmentally friendly and that can supply the energy demand of the population. Therefore, one of the sources that meets these expectations is the Sun, from which solar energy can be obtained through photovoltaic panels; However, this issue isn't highly developed in the country. In view of the above, in this monograph is developed a Feasibility Study for the Implementation of Photovoltaic Solar Energy in the Preschool Zone of the Agustiniano Suba School; With this case study, we seek to contribute to the topic of solar energy in the country. This document includes an initial diagnosis of the place in terms of energy consumption during a period of one year; Then, an alternative was developed that allows to reduce the energy consumption of the Preschool Zone of the Agustiniano Suba School and based on it, a proposal was made for an electricity grid powered by Photovoltaic Solar Energy, where the calculation of the system was carried through an online simulator and a special guide in the calculation of photovoltaic installations, and was later compared. In addition, we considered the investment costs and the benefits of the implementation of Photovoltaic Solar Energy in the Preschool Zone of the Agustiniano Suba School.
