Resumen
The Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and the José Félix Restrepo I.E.D. technical school. have established an agreement to carry out an internship that aims to provide support to students with visual and cognitive disabilities in the area of mathematics. This will be achieved through activities such as classroom support, extracurricular support to reinforce the topics covered, and the appropriate adaptation of resources that are essential to improve the understanding of the mathematical concepts covered. The objective of this approach is to create an environment where equal opportunities and participation of the entire student community are promoted, allowing all students to benefit from the learning process that is generated. In this context, we speak of inclusive mathematics education, which seeks to equitably address the common and specific needs of students in the area of mathematics, providing the relevant teaching spaces and resources to facilitate the teaching-learning process. To achieve this, it is essential that the teaching staff is properly trained to implement different strategies and methodologies that adapt to the individual needs of the students. In this way, inclusive education makes it possible to guarantee the support and fair adjustments required in the educational process, in accordance with human rights and, among other aspects, the recognition of the population with disabilities. In that same decree, the Ministry of National Education (MEN, 2017) has defined the concept of "reasonable adjustments" as the necessary and appropriate actions, adaptations, strategies, supports, resources or modifications within the educational system and school administration, based on the specific needs of each student, which persist despite the implementation of the universal learning design, and which are implemented after a thorough evaluation of the characteristics of the student with disabilities. Inclusive education represents a challenge today and is linked to various factors, such as curricular adaptation, efficiency in the execution of established policies, the participation of the students themselves, the community and the family, as well as the continuous training of teachers to adequately monitor the learning and teaching processes of these students. It is proposed to implement an internship extension as a modality of degree work, with the aim of providing support to children and young people with visual disabilities and also provides support to students with cognitive disabilities. This internship is based on the use of various pedagogical tools and resources adapted to meet your needs. This document presents the internship work plan, which consists of three sections: an introduction that justifies the need for the internship, highlighting its social contribution and its educational value for the education student; a description of the voluntary agreement signed between the college and the university; and a work plan for interns within the framework of the agreement of wills and approaches to inclusive education.
