Resumen
The research project was developed in the Nature, memory and power research line of the degree in Child Pedagogy. This was carried out with children in transition and second grade from the República de Estados Unidos de América I.E.D school in Bogotá. And it seeks to resignify the conceptions that boys and girls have with food and its origin, thus building principles of Food Sovereignty from the urban school. The foregoing, allowing the development of skills such as exploration, inquiry and creation and leading children to critical and reflective thinking about the origin and consumption of food. This research proposes that children be protagonists in the construction of knowledge, through experience and direct contact with food, knowing the germination processes and their production methods; valuing the work of the peasant and the people who are dedicated to agriculture, so that a transformation of their conceptions can be achieved with boys and girls and principles of food sovereignty are promoted, not only at school, but also in each one of their homes.
