Resumen
The Cundinamarca Cadastral Agency is an entity committed to the well-being of citizens, focused on bringing closer and streamlining cadastral processes, providing security and confidence at each stage. Working in close collaboration with the Agustín Codazzi Geographic Institute (IGAC), the agency is governed by the regulations established by this institution, guaranteeing quality in property sweeping and the delivery of results. The main objective of the Agustín Codazzi Geographic Institute (IGAC) is to produce, provide and disseminate reliable and timely information and knowledge in various areas, such as geodesy, geography, cartography, agrology, cadastre and geospatial technologies. In addition, it is dedicated to the transfer of knowledge on these fundamental topics (Agustín Codazzi Institute - IGAC, 2017). Basic technical regulations are crucial to guarantee the correct execution of projects, establishing minimum requirements and specific recommendations. Geodetic works play a fundamental role in the development of civil works, infrastructure and urban planning, as well as in road planning. Currently, the precise determination of coordinates, control points and measurements in general on the surface requires compliance with the parameters established by the competent authorities. In this sense, the current IGAC regulations, in particular Resolution 1562 of 2018 and Resolution 643 of 2018, establish the technical specifications for topographic surveys, with the aim of synthesizing the different processes necessary to achieve precise GPS positioning. An example of this is the precision standards that must be met according to regulations in geodetic networks, as well as the characteristics and appropriate classification of geodetic control points. These guidelines allow for an exhaustive analysis of the final products and the geographical information obtained, guaranteeing the quality and reliability of the results. In summary, both the Cundinamarca Cadastral Agency and the Agustín Codazzi Geographic Institute (IGAC) play a fundamental role in the cadastral and geodetic field, collaborating closely to provide an efficient and reliable service to citizens, in compliance with established technical regulations.
