Resumen
Globalizing phenomena have certain economies to integrate local economic system, producing technological marginalization: separation or social exclusion in relation to the use of tools and services that provide skills in the use of scientific and technological elements for mass use. Therefore, this article addresses the research investigated in the period 2012-2015, about the influence of the ICT (information and communications) in the life of the inhabitants in the town of Ciudad Bolivar (Bogota Colombia), where is located the headquarters of the Faculty of technology, the University Francisco José de Caldas (UDFJC) taking into account indicators of digital divide, technological marginalization and digital inclusion in the sector. the effect that these tools cause to interact with them, and how easily handled and introduced into the daily activities of its inhabitants, allowing to detect the level of digital literacy and accessibility to ICT is displayed. a methodology is also presented considering the allowable error, the estimated confidence level and character of the samples based on quantifying the impact of technology through the scope, strategies, tools and statistics, using surveys measuring Sector Productive; Survey measuring basic needs at home and surveys assessing needs in the environment, so that it can be replicated in subsequent studies in populations in which it is required to collect relevant information to identify the basis of the town line in terms of technology and main needs that may supplement and / or improved through ICT, the same social characteristics.
