Diseño de una Metodología de Diagnóstico Sectorial

Abstract

The constant dynamism that characterizes economies today, makes clear the need to establish strategies and public and private policies that contribute to the growth and development of the economic sectors of a country. However, these strategies and policies have difficulties before, during and after formulation, because in most cases are not supported in a previous diagnosis to know the current situation of the sectors and also do not have a standard methodology to periodically evaluate the results obtained from the application thereof. The above-identified problems justified the development of this research, through which a methodology sectoral diagnosis so far nonexistent, allowing the user interested in applying it in a specific sector, use a standard tool to know the state design initial itself and its evolution over time. This tool includes an application that guides the user in the collection and analysis of information, necessary for the study of a wide range of variables, from different perspectives that will support and facilitate the formulation of policies and strategies for the sector.
