Abstract

The appropriate selection of a UPS equipment or an electric generator is essential for the operation and reliability of an energy backup system which, taking into account this type of equipment tends to support critical loads where the reliability and quality of the energy are essential for its operation and care, therefore when selecting the equipment that is required, it is important to take into consideration all the necessary parameters that influence the operation and performance of the backup equipment such as temperature, height above sea level, type of work or operation, characteristics of the load to be supported and its operation, among other factors that affect the net capacity that a team can support without affecting its well-being; from there arises the need to implement a model that facilitates the management of said information as well as speed up the necessary calculations when selecting the capacity of a team.
