Resumen
This article presents pedagogical reflections after two years of teaching practice in the rural school La Argentina, with students in middle school. It was intended, with the exercise of inquiry-reflection, to trace the role of rural child labor in the processes of teaching/learning in rural school. The hypothesis of the study focused on the question: how to dignify/give a new meaning the sight of rural child labor through an interdisciplinary pedagogical proposal to enhance learning in children of the rural school La Argentina? Subsequently, a literature review was held that addresses child labor as a positive activity in the development of children. This way, the results found in the pedagogical practice were sustained: children develop certain activities in rural areas in which they build diverse knowledge; these were resumed to implement an alternative pedagogical proposal that rescue such knowledge to bring them into dialogue with the school.
