Valoración económica y propuesta de mejoramiento del sendero Quebrada La Vieja

Abstract

he following work has as objective to estimate the economic value that the users confer to the environmental goods and services that are recognized during the journey through the ecological path that broke the old one of the city of Bogotá DC, in this way, information was collected that relates the various problems faced by the path according to the responses of the people interviewed, in this regard, this information served as input to make a proposal for improvement on the conditions that prevent the proper enjoyment of this space. The methodological deployment focused on the Contingent Valuation method, which was applied by means of 80 surveys that sought to estimate the maximum willingness to pay that reflect the visitors of the ecological path broken the old, either for the enjoyment of the place, or for the provision of environmental goods and services offered by the trail. With the contingent valuation it was possible to identify that the willingness to pay revealed by the different population groups interviewed resulted in $ 7,479, in the same way, the perception of the people was inquired about the main problems that the path faces, and the way they would be willing to collaborate to solve these situations, with the answers it was corroborated that sometimes people try to enjoy as much as possible of this type of scenarios, but incurring the lowest cost possible, or simply doing the action generated by the child dare.
