Estrategias para el fortalecimiento de alianzas territoriales en torno al turismo del Nevado del Cocuy en el marco de la política de turismo sostenible de Colombia

Abstract

The study is based on the ecotourism given in the PNN El Cocuy and since this is a very important link between the relationships of the territorial actors that are immersed in the activity, where several agreements and disagreements were found regarding the use and management of the Nevado, due to the above, structured interviews were conducted with the different territorial actors that participated in this work, which do not show their perceptions, experiences and proposals to have sustainable ecotourism under a system of cooperation and articulation between them.

Once the results of the interviews were obtained and with the search for secondary information, strategies were formulated to strengthen territorial alliances with an approach based on socio-ecological systems, recognizing the natural and cultural roots of the population, the needs and chain of value generated by tourism and the personal opportunities it provides to the community.

Therefore, strategies were proposed aimed at generating tools for the regulation of ecotourism, the diversification of sustainable tourism and tourism governance, these being necessary to maintain the development of this activity in the PNN El Cocuy in harmony and revealing a local growth in the area. territory.
