Resumen
The currently research was based on the analysis of the effects that has the significant Christian learning approach in the academic performance and students social development. This research includes a progressive development of different stages that initiates from the summary of bibliographical texts up to the information processing, analysis and interpretation of the information. This project was framed in a documentary investigation type, where several texts related to Significant Christian learning model were analyzed. There was applied Klaus Krippendorf's technique about content analysis in order to interpret the documents and the results taken from the research. Also, it was done an analysis about Saber Test results from some students of eleventh grade. Based on these results, certain problems were identified that affect student development in the classroom, as the model interferes in the class process, especially in those related to scientific learning. For this reason a proposal of direction is made for the improvement of the application of the Christian model in the educational institutions.
