Cantando y contando: relatos personales e invenciones de las niñas del Colectivo The Scorpions de la Fundación Hogares Club Michín

Abstract

In the content of this document is a proposal of educational research - pedagogical stories constructed and sung by girls between 11 and 13 years of age of the Collective "The Scorpions" of the Hogares Club Michin Foundation. This process is accompanied by activities of awareness, writing, reading, recording and interpretation of creations of authentic songs generated by them, through which the importance of the Story will be recognized as a generator of everyday experiential and imaginary experiences, taking into account the context where girls are immersed. This, due to the importance of contributing, valuing, recognizing and implementing in non-formal educational spaces, an instrument that allows to give greater visibility to the stories told by the girls from different experiences and visions that allow to account for the relationships that are woven from different areas (social, neighborhood, school, family, personal), in this order of ideas, arises the need to promote not only a space, but an unconventional way of telling the real stories and inventions that girls want to express, so therefore, the construction of personal stories appears in the first instance, which will later become songs; to generate these texts, a writing, reading and rereading process is implemented on the knowledge and experiences that each girl stipulates individually there, later, for the consummation of details, a collective work is carried out. The story accompanied by artistic expressions, in this case the Music, plays a fundamental role for the interpretation and configuration of the different discourses that permeate the life of each girl, taking into account the communicative intention that exerts the effect of a song towards which they listen.
