Estado del Arte. Caracterísiticas y Experiencias de los Sistemas de Bicicletas Público en América Latina y Consideraciones para la Implementación del SBP en Bogotá

Abstract

This paper provides a general framework and reference for the implementation and operation of the Public Bike System ( PBS ) in different cities of Latin America. The same is the result of a scan for each of these systems , including history , design and structuring , technical, basic components , inclusion and access, availability and coverage, operation model , generally with an approach of the relevant characteristics of each containing a PBS aspect . The second chapter of this paper analyzes the main challenges facing the implementation of the System of Public Bicycles (SBP ) to Bogota and recommendations on the integrity and sustainability for the development of mobility according to the needs and size of the city, with the Finally lead to the progress and advancement of the Colombian capital and improving the welfare and quality of life of its inhabitants.
