Abstract

Globalization, the easy access to information for Latin American countries, an ideal moment in social and cultural economic development, represents a challenge for Colombia and position itself as a power in the region; This implies the design and execution of infrastructure projects necessary to meet the challenge of global economic development, obeying this need and as a main institution the AGUSTIN CODAZZI GEOGRAPHICAL INSTITUTE whose mission is to produce, define, publish and certify geographic, cartographic, Agronomic, cadastral, geodetic and geospatial technologies of the country, therefore establishing the guidelines for generating, defining, publishing and certifying the coordinates in the reference system MAGNA-SIRGAS for the Cartesian flat origins, being the basic input for the construction Of the local cartographic projections and in turn the cartographic models with the precisions required for urban studies at large scales minimizing the deformations of the Gauss Krüger projection. In this process it is necessary to have an internal quality management system that allows to identify through quality standards (nonconformities), in the analysis it was possible to identify the need to verify and update the database of CARTOGRAPHIC CARTOGRAPHIC ORIGINS, which They present inconsistencies such as duplicity and differences in values, either due to random or systematic errors in structuring and compiling information.
