Abstract

This research deals with the relations between science, religion and evolution teaching. The study sought an understanding of the ideas of secondary biology teachers about the interaction between science and religion and its relation with the teaching of evolution. For this, a case study was carried out with four teachers participated. The research was motivated by the importance that biology represents for evolution and the problem that results in teaching, which is closely linked to the more general relationship between science and religion.
