Imaginarios Sociales Sobre el Trabajo Infantil de Niños y Niñas Trabajadores de la Localidad de Ciudad Bolívar

Abstract

This document gives an account of a qualitative research, through the ethnographic methodology, about the imaginaries around the phenomenon of child labor that have 10 underage workers in the city of Ciudad Bolívar, in the Capital District, who actively participated offering their perceptions in relation to the question that originated this study, carried out between 2016 and 2018 (What are the social imaginaries of adolescents aged 14 to 17 years of the Amar Lucero Bajo Center in the city of Ciudad Bolívar facing the phenomenon of Child Labor?). The observation, theoretical inquiry, application of the method and analysis of results are developed within the framework of the formulation of the Degree Work, in Monograph mode, to opt for the title of Specialist in Human Development with emphasis on affective processes and creativity, within of the Human Development research line and the subline of Language as an affective and artistic expression. The fundamental objective is to recognize the imaginaries of the target population on the IT phenomenon and to make their expression capacities a channel to approach them and the factors that originated them. It aims to motivate new analyzes of Child Labor as a social phenomenon to be understood, rather than problematic to intervene.
