Resumen
This research arose after reflecting on and supporting different authors about the considerable decline of traditional education, which has been falling into force fields that in a certain way restrict or limit the school, which is not in accordance with the needs of the context. , nor does it respond to what happens around it. That's why it came about the need to propose from this research a pedagogical project outside of school, in which, based on Hip Hop, dialogues and reflections were raised about the social problems of the environment where the practice was developed and that affect or transform the life experience of the young people who are part of these contexts. This work has as its central base mainly theoretical references of critical thinking such as Paulo Freire, Peter McLaren and others who have questioned the role of the school, making important distinctions between schooling and education, it also uses sources of popular and non-popular education. formally and finally talks about Hip Hop from its origins and its intentions as a cultural movement. The selected methodology was qualitative, with a critical paradigm and the design that What accompanied it was action research. After analyzing the different results obtained from some tools such as; field diaries and interactive collection techniques, different reflections were collected that contribute to the field of research, such as saying that Hip Hop is a useful vehicle for developing critical thinking and that it fosters dialogues and deep reflections about the social problems of the environment.
