Resumen
This research project was carried out during 2018 at the Jorge Soto del Corral IED School, headquarters B of the Locality of Santa Fe (Bogotá DC), corresponds to an inter-cycle proposal aimed at initial education students (Transition, 21 students ) and elementary primary (Second grade, 21 students) as an alternative to promote school coexistence from the development of educational practices that strengthen the values of respect, responsibility and solidarity, seeking to answer the question How to strengthen through practices educational institutional values from an environmental perspective, with the transition and second students of the FDI Jorge Soto del Corral headquarters B-Bogotá DC?
From the methodological point of view, the qualitative research approach was assumed, incorporating critical observation as the main tool; from the design and implementation of various pedagogical practices, it was concluded that the main changes in the understanding of values by students are generated when they manage to anticipate the consequences of negative behaviors such as being disrespectful or unsupportive for themselves and others, what accounts for the beginning of the development of empathy; the structuring of attitudes towards institutional values was favored, generating a greater sense of belonging, cooperation, reflection and sensitivity towards the care of biophysical elements and the establishment of harmonics relationships between colleagues at different levels; Likewise, recommendations were made for updating the PEI Institutional Educational Project in relation to training in values and the environment, an important aspect to take into account for Transversal Pedagogical Projects.
