Una vida: Rocío Martínez. Apuesta por la construcción de narrativas multimedia para el liderazgo ambiental

Abstract

This research focuses on exploring and delving into the role of environmental leadership in Colombia, specifically in the city of Bogotá, through the life story of Rocío Martínez, leader of the Meandro del Say Wetland and founder of the "Patrulleritos Ambientales" project. Rocío has dedicated her life to promoting environmental awareness and community participation in the protection of the natural environment. This project seeks to reveal the motivations, challenges, and relevance of environmental leadership, as well as the practices associated with environmental care and their impact on society and territories. This will be achieved through the use of a virtual gallery as a multimedia tool that allows for an interactive and immersive narration of Rocío’s life story and work, aiming to raise awareness among different audiences about the struggles and projects of environmental leaders. In this way, the project intends to bring attention to Rocío’s fight and share her story within the pressing environmental context in Colombia, where leaders face not only ecological challenges but also significant risks in their work.
