Resumen
This document describes the development of a control system for the management of parking spaces, through the registration of users from a mobile application for Android devices, the generation of digital identification credentials through the encryption of the information in QR codes. and provision of user data on parking lot occupancy; information provided by a local control system developed with a Raspberry pi single board computer. This system contains a main interface that executes algorithms in Python language, which allow decoding information stored in images captured by a digital camera, as well as validating user access to parking and suggesting the distribution of available parking spaces for vehicles. The information is stored in a database in the cloud, developed on the Firebase platform and a local backup designed with MySQL, the system also has a set of optical sensors, indicators and actuators, complemented by the use of various communication protocols. , also has a Nextion Touch HMI screen and finally an HDMI screen, on which the aforementioned main interface is projected. This development responds to a need found mainly in the District University, headquarters of the technological faculty, as an alternative that allows reducing the time spent parking a vehicle, proposing a new methodology for the registration and validation of users contributing to parking management.
