Resumen
The investigation Microstories of girls and boys in the city of Bogotá through the 5th edition of the Bogotá in 100 words contest analyzes the meanings of the city immersed in the microstories of girls and boys published in the fifth version of the aforementioned contest. To carry out this analysis, a theoretical journey was proposed based on concepts such as childhood —from the perspective of experience and otherness—, the city —from the perspective of symbolic constructions, urban imaginaries, displacement practices and the narration in everyday life—, language, childhood narratives and the micro-story as a genre. These short stories were reviewed within the framework of a narrative analysis scheme based on the proposal of the Mexican theorist Lauro Zavala. The analysis matrix raises the main categories that account for the meanings of the city from daily practices, socio-cultural relations, the relationship of the subject with space and family ties of girls and boys.
