Resumen
This research arises from the author's need for knowledge about the causes that lead children from a self-recognized community as Black, which shares traditions, geographic spaces, more common sacred sites and a food culture to have manifestations of racism that end up affecting school life. Its objective is to implement the cathedra of Afro-Colombian Studies to rebuild identity traits and improve school coexistence in students who belong to the black community of Corralejas, for this the socio-family context of the participating students will be analyzed, in the same way it will be reconstructed the genesis and evolution of this community from the oral tradition of the elderly and finally a pedagogical proposal is presented for the implementation of the CEA in the educational establishment where it was developed. All the content in this document was carried out with the students of fifth grade, whose members are 13 students registered, however in the process 8 participated with their families, which attended to the different activities that are described and shown in the chapter of Analysis of the Information. It contains the referents from the qualitative approach, the method that is the research - action, the interpretive paradigm - hermeneutic, in the same way, the strategies and research instruments and the intervention process that was carried out with people belonging to different ages where Workshops and interviews were applied that allowed to know if the manifestations of racism have an origin in the family nucleus or if they are learned by behavioral models that are repeated in the whole community.
