Evaluación del Plan de Residuos Sólidos de la Plaza De Mercado del Barrio Doce de Octubre Ubicada en la Ciudad de Bogotá y Formulacion de Propuestas de Mejoramiento

Abstract

The development of this work "Evaluation plan of solid waste from the market square in the neighborhood Oct. 12 located in the city of Bogota and formulating proposals for improvement," was based on the current regulations applicable to the subject, Resolution 754 of 2014 , for which the methodology for the formulation, implementation, evaluation, monitoring, control and update Plans Solid Waste Management is adopted. Within the methodology for implementing the plan, a diagnosis of the current situation was conducted, which were characterized and quantified the waste generated in the marketplace in the neighborhood Doce de Octubre; based on this diagnosis they were analyzed and the physical and social aspects that are not in accordance with regulations were prioritized, resulting in: 1. Characterization and quantification of waste generated in the marketplace. 2. Definition of activities for the management of solid organic and reusable waste 3.- education and awareness program for the integrated management of solid waste. The success of this plan will mainly focus on two basic components: the education and awareness program for the integrated management of waste from the market square Doce de Octubre, 2. The implementation of the physical components required for 1.- solution to waste management. Proposals to improve the current plan of solid waste activities will have an estimated cost of $ 260,760,000, designed to be executed in two years and the implementation will depend on the local or district administration of the square.
