Resumen
Strategic management system is also known as the Sustainability Balanced Scorecard. It is an administrative tool which uses a financial and non- financial metrics management system to balance between the measurement results (past performance) and measurement variables or metrics (future performance). The purpose of this project is to design a model Sustainability Balanced Scorecard that will develop and integrate strategic planning of tourism companies in the region of San Antonio De El Tequendama providing guidelines of sustainable tourism, quality, and competitiveness. A case study is chosen to apply different administrative tools to understand its current situation. In addition, it demonstrates the effects of the environment in its development from five perspectives that composite the Sustainability Balanced Scorecard: Financial, Customers, Processes, Learning and Growth along with the noncommercial perspective that integrates cultural, environmental and social aspects. Furthermore, the strategic map is designed for tourism company selected, showing the interrelationships between each perspective and strategic objectives. Finally, the software BSC Designer is structured with control and monitoring of the performance metrics selected in order to take action when necessary according to performance management strategy.
