Resumen
There are different ways of interpreting the structural behavior of a system through the Matrix analysis of rigidities. Constantly developing applications that facilitate their understanding. However, performing benchmarking results without supporting software becomes a costly task. Consequently, a traceability of the Construction of a complementary tool for the structure analysis course II is presented, which allows systematizing, visualizing and interpreting the matrix stiffness method of structures. The software facilitates the evaluation of the structural behavior of beams, trusses and portals in 2D through a visual Basic platform, according to the configurations, conditions and restrictions made by the user. Therefore, it supports the development of design criteria thanks to its versatility, showing and evaluating step by step the calculation of the element analyzed.
