Resumen
The creation of structural maps is essential for the operation of companies that wish to carry out their hydrocarbon exploration and production activities. However, the requirements and expectations of clients or users must be reflected in a document whose content describes in detail the minimum elements and parameters that the cartographic annexes must contain, which will be delivered both to private users and to regulatory entities such as the ANH or the Colombian Geological Service (SGC) through its attached EPIS unit; using a data model that allows the characterization of all geographic objects and a proper delivery format that allows the visualization, description and correct interpretation of the set of data that make up a structural map. The present profile of technical specification for structural maps at 1:25000 scale was developed following the parameters required by the international standard ISO 19131, NTC 5662 and the guide of implementation of technical specifications for geographic products made by the ICDE; taking the necessary elements that entails a guiding document for those actors that must make this type of inputs to develop their activity in the Oil & Gas sector.
