Sistema de gestión académica para la inscripción, evaluación, y seguimiento de la asignatura trabajo de grado del PCAM

Abstract

The undergraduate thesis involved the design, development, and implementation of an academic management system for the registration, evaluation, and monitoring of undergraduate projects within the Curricular Project of Musical Arts (PCAM) at Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas. The web application utilizes enterprise-level tools and technologies and was created to improve the organization of administrative and academic processes related to undergraduate projects. The system allows interaction among users with distinct roles (administrator, student, and tutor), providing secure authentication and access to specific functions. Its key features include undergraduate project registration, tutor assignment, academic evaluation and feedback, date management, and report generation. Additionally, security measures were implemented to ensure data integrity and confidentiality. The project documentation is structured into three chapters: the first details the technical requirements and development process; the second serves as the user manual, explaining how to use the platform and its functionalities; and the third covers the technical documentation, describing the system architecture, data structure, service operation, and the implementation and deployment process in a production environment.
