Resumen
Considering the transcendental role of education, the continuous changes in society and the permanent reflections on the quality of education, the work of teachers has become the focus of attention. Therefore, studies that focus on the well-being, happiness and satisfaction of teachers are becoming increasingly relevant, due to their influence on the teaching-learning process. Thus, taking into account the boom in psychological research on happiness in recent decades and aware that it is a complex construct and that there are various dimensions that contribute to it, this research identifies the relationship between the perceived happiness of practicing teachers, job satisfaction and the organizational commitment they demonstrate. Through the instruments The Pemberton Happiness Index (PHI), the Teacher Satisfaction ScaleVersion for Teachers (ESL-VP) and the Utretch Work Engagement Scale.
