Resumen
This paper proposes an analytical approach to some products that, using the new devices of the industry, managed to star in the 2007-2011 period in the pop / rock category and within the framework of the indie label. The topics analyzed are "Bros" by Panda Bear; “I Never Learn to Share” by James Blake and “I’m Not Done” by Fever Ray Karin Dreijer, which are related to the concept of “diverse song” proposed by Umberto Eco; These show the specific musical features that serve, subsequently, as raw material for the creation of music score for the scene. It is not the object of this study to perform analysis of parameters such as harmony, because you will only notice the musical elements that are relevant and close to the musical concerns of the productions assigned to the indie category. That is, the main thing is to define the differentiating aspects, how they are contrasted and how they are configured to generate the products, and then, to recognize the creative scopes for their understanding as an object of art and not as just a product. The analyzed material exposes various sound parameters, and musical structures, from which it is sought to discern some outstanding stylistic characteristics that will then be input for the creation of a sound design for contemporary dance work 2/3 Y UN BAÑO, winner of the IDARTES Dance Creation Scholarship call for the year 2019 in Bogota Colombia. The creative process is presented as part of the written document.
