Resumen
Through the transversal academic project of teachers training for populations with special educational needs (NEES) of the District University Francisco José de Caldas, was carried out an academic accompaniment process headed to a visual disabled student at postgraduate educational level. During this internship, the needs and requirements presented by a master's student with visual impairment were analyzed from five axes proposed and developed during the period 2015 -3 - 2017 -1. The axes included for the development of this academic work were: support reader, support in material design, support in documentary revision for omissions in digitization, support in bibliographic management of non-digitized sources and finally support for accessibility to educational platforms . Each of the work axes developed throughout the internship process allowed to highlight the factors that become barriers for the accessibility and integral development of a magister candidate with visual impairment. These factors included: the absence of accessible technological equipment, lack of culture and education in diversity, and the lack of participation and opportunities that a student with a visual impairment may have. Finally, this is the first academic accompaniment at the postgraduate level carried out at the District University, whereby it becomes an input, a contribution for future internships or modalities of degree, furthermore provides evidence, analysis and recommendations around the Educational needs presented by a magister or doctoral student with visual impairment in their academic daily life.
