Resumen
At the El Dorado Airport, the construction of the new taxiways, extension of connecting streets, quick exits and resurfacing of the tracks, all the shooting areas on the north track including the headwaters of the tracks, These activities are carried out by means of two contracts which in turn are decomposed into the contract of resurfacing and the OTHER IS N ° 4 Cto 0110 - OP: the other if N ° 4 for extensions, construction of new taxiways and deviation of The current general aviation route using a box coulvert type structure for vehicular traffic under the new route build Mike II, in addition to other activities; And the other for the resurfacing of existing runways and taxiways. The extension contract was the first to start on August 24, 2015, and the resurfacing began on November 13, 2015, with an estimated completion date in the first half of 2017 for both contracts. In the present project one of the most interesting parts to intervene will be the deviation of the current route to general aviation using a box coulvert type structure and the taxiway parallel to the one on the south runway that passes over it, It is important to create a new taxiway such as the Mike II with a length of 2 km and a pavement structure with layers of significant thickness in which will be studied the control of the amount of material used, focusing the present study mainly , In the inspection of the quantity of asphalt used in it. Mike's undercarriage will be constructed from scratch with a new pavement design compared to existing taxiways, which seek to increase strength and durability. Due to this, each of the volumes and quantities in the field must be controlled so that the street meets the respective designs and requirements. The central theme of the project, then, is the calculation of volumes in the asphalt mixture layers used in the taxiway Mike II. The construction process the pavement structure of the taxiway was initially divided into two stages because the delivery of land did not allow the taxiway construction to be completely and continuously carried out.
