Aplicación móvil para la red distrital de parques de Bogotá

Abstract

The present project developed a methodology to collect information about each park that the city of Bogotá has, knowing its area, name, geographic location of physical elements (furniture, scenarios and games), and its current state and its elements. The IDRD needs this information, therefore, using software and mobile applications developed by ESRI (ArcGIS and Collector), it was possible to unify the parks' technical specifications provided by the IDRD in a geographic information system based on a database that has nine entities, which represents one hundred percent of the information that the public entity requires; the database was loaded into a web map where entities can be viewed, edited, created and updated. From a smartphone with the Collector for ArcGIS application, the web map was downloaded and a small portion of the totality of parks in the city of Bogotá was updated.
