Resumen
The foundation is a topographic procedure that is used mostly in civil works, with the main purpose of distributing and adequately supporting the loads of the structure to be built, this process is variable and depends on the characteristics of the construction, such as: the conditions of the land , the dimensions of the structure, its weight among others. This document attempts to capture the foundation process developed by the student and that was required in the construction of a new headquarters for the EAN university in Bogotá, a work that is known as "Universidad EAN Legacy Etapa II ", throughout of the document you can find all the topographical procedure that the student executed in the work along with the step-by-step evidence of the process, explaining how it was done and what is its importance for the construction of the structure, also, it is intended to explain the classification of foundations used in the project according to the area occupied, type of soil and materials used, will also be presented the reading and interpretation of plans for the calculation and rectification of data necessary in the construction of each foundation, explaining the topographic procedure that must be performed for control and generate the foundation. The opinions and recommendations offered by the author based on his experience with each foundation process he made, all topographically emphasized, will also be exposed, specifying the way in which the activities were developed taking into account the resources that were granted. Finally, the results obtained in the work are presented, presented chronologically according to the phase in which they were built and specifying their specific function in the building.
