Análisis y Evaluación del Comportamiento de la Industria Manufacturera en Colombia entre los Años 2008 y 2014. Aplicación de Datos de Panel

Abstract

Manufactury Industry in Colombia is one of the economic sectors with the greatest potencial for Colombian economy growth. As a result, thanks to data collection since 2008, global economic and finantial crisis time, it’s posible to do the analysis of the manufacturing behavior during the period 2008-2014 using the panel data model. This study includes the analysis of every manufacturing industry subsector, which incorporate the twenty-seven national accounts suggested by the National Administrative Department for Statistics DANE in order to calculate and show economic information. Firstable, this case-study takes the reader to the heart of the economic and finantial crisis of 2008 not only around the world but in Colombia and specially in the studied field, later it shows a description of panel data model followed by the analysis of every subsector and finally, it presents the findings of the model and contrast results with this economic sector reality during the study time in the country.
