Resumen
This undergraduate thesis, developed as an internship within the university radio program “CiberPlaneta” broadcast by LAUD 90.4 FM, aims to analyze the integration of environmental journalism through technological innovation and environmental education using digital media. The project sought to strengthen the program’s dissemination on social networks such as Facebook and Instagram, implementing communication strategies that connect university radio with new digital environments. During the internship, digital content (copywriting, visual pieces, and informational capsules) was designed and produced to promote ecological awareness and encourage participation from the university community. Likewise, active participation in the production and discussion of radio programs contributed with critical perspectives on environmental and technological issues. A comparative analysis with other programs such as Conexión Ambiental (National University of Colombia) and Caracol Sostenible (Caracol Radio) identified the distinctive value of CiberPlaneta, characterized by its innovative and educational approach to sustainability and technology. The results demonstrate that the convergence between university radio and digital platforms broadens the reach of environmental journalism, strengthening the formation of an environmentally aware and socially engaged citizenship. It is concluded that the incorporation of digital strategies and transmedia narratives represents an opportunity to consolidate CiberPlaneta as a space for innovation in public environmental communication.
