Estudio multitemporal de calidad del aire en el departamento de Cundinamarca en tiempos del Covid-19 con Google Earth Engine

Abstract

In Colombia, air quality is a subject of constant debate in all academic and political circles in the country, in fact under resolution 2254 of November 1, 2017, the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development issued the provisions by which quality should be regulated. of the air in the country establishing maximum pollutants and from the information collected from various analyzes in the monitoring stations to determine if any type of alert should be declared and what are the measures to be taken in order to avoid reaching toxic levels that generate damages in the daily life of Colombians. Faced with this scenario, this degree project seeks to answer the question. Has the air quality in the department of Cundinamarca (including the capital of the republic) improved since the Covid-19 pandemic arrived in the country if the period that the health emergency lasted is compared to the previous year? as? through a multi-temporal study conducted on the Google Earth Engine platform.
