Resumen
The document contained herein is a research proposal that is inscribed in the line of social imaginaries on urban school that has been built by a group of children belonging to different indigenous communities, in the District Educational Institution Antonio José Uribe, with the intention of recognizing, in educational practices, some elements of the acculturation process and how these affect the participation of the subjects. In the cultural horizon of our country, the native peoples and the configuration of their reality, their cosmogony, the particular ways of living in their territory, which attends to the construction of meanings from orality, in their mother tongue and the practices learned, inherited, transmitted transgenerationally, forging identity characteristics of recognition. Studies on the field of childhood are related to this context, insofar as they situate girls and boys as research subjects who reconfigure their imaginaries and social representations to adapt to the educational scenario to which they are linked, due to circumstantial situations, generally characterized by westernized foundations, such as the curriculum, the evaluation systems, the coexistence manual, which derives in standardized and homogenizing practices that ignore the cultural heritage and lead to the adaptation and adoption of the institutional dynamics, in what is denoted here as the "cultural heritage".
