Resumen
Organizations that develop R&D&I aligned with their mission and vision, to achieve continuous improvement, achieve that their performance in determining aspects impact their competitiveness and organizational success; the inclusion of methodologies or international standards such as TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL, PMI and CMMI offers the inclusion of proven best practices; Additionally, the implementation of international reference frameworks in Colombia is an obligation by law for public entities, mainly due to policies aimed at the integration of ICT in the processes, however, these policies in turn allow organizations to strengthen their competitive advantages through the development of methods and strategies adapted to the functions and processes of each organization.
The ultimate goal of this research is to serve as an example, guide and inspiration for different organizations interested in the integration of international reference frameworks; either for regulatory compliance or for the search for continuous improvement, in order to strengthen their competitiveness. The model of implementation of reference frameworks is based on the characterization, modeling and simulation defined for an IT office of an academic entity: The Research Network of Advanced Technologies of the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, using criteria of continuous improvement from a holistic and integral approach.
