Apoyo a la formulación e implementación de los planes de uso eficiente y ahorro del agua, en los acueductos veredales de la zona rural de Bogotá D.C. y el municipio de La Calera

Abstract

The Autonomous Regional Corporation of Cundinamarca sectional Bogotá - La Calera, as environmental authority, has the responsibility to verify compliance with environmental standards which promote sustainable development of community activities, this includes, of course, the rational use of the resources needed for implementation. So it was just a diagnosis and monitoring of aqueducts within the jurisdiction of Bogota La Calera sectional that were in the process of renewal of the concession of surface water and its programs for the efficient use and saving water (PUEAA). It is understood by PUEAA, according to Law 373 of 1997, the number of projects and actions that should develop and adopt the entities responsible for the provision of services of water supply, sewerage, irrigation and drainage, hydropower production and others, in order to establish measures to reduce losses, the formation of a consciousness of saving and rational use on users and the protection of water supply sources. Based on the above, the search for the welfare of the community within the framework of environmental sustainability is one of the pillars that underpin the mission of the Corporation and this project.
