Resumen
Wetlands present a series of characteristics with a close relation or association of their physical and biological components; which show the interface between terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. Consequently, their processes are directly related to the hydrological regime. Currently the main environmental conflicts facing wetlands and for which they are condemned to their reduction and near disappearance are given in two ways; the first, due to anthropic interventions such as the rapid urban development of the city of Bogotá, the transformation of the soil, the dumping of waste of domestic and industrial origin, the accumulation of solid waste, among others. The second, understood from the biological point of view as the colonization of invasive plants. The ignorance of them, their sociocultural and economic impacts make their dispersion and colonization more rapid and effective, therefore, they contributed to the empowerment and awareness of the community surrounding the Salitre wetland, articulating the work developed in the Salitre-Torca basin with the professional of the Botanical Garden, Luz Stella Mora on the identification, management and use of the plants classified as invasive, in order to generate actions aimed at the recovery, protection and management of these ecosystems, for this a quick guide will be elaborated. the invasive species present in said wetland as a strategy of appropriation of the processes of knowledge and dissemination to the community, strengthening the culture-nature ties and strengthening the management, control and identification of said plants as part of ecological conservation and restoration strategies.
