El altiplano en clave de Fa, diseño de tres piezas basadas en la música carranguera para dúo de bajos eléctricos, voz y guacharaca

Abstract

This project focuses on the design of three pieces for the chosen format by the authors: a duo of electric bass guitars, guacharaca, and vocals. It is based on technical and interpretive musical elements specific to Carranguera music, and considers some compositional, technical, and interpretive musical elements contained in previously done works where the duo of electric bass guitars plays a leading role. Throughout these pages, the authors provide a contextualization of the bass guitar in carranguera music, also they propose a series of technical and interpretative exercises prior to playing the musical works, finally the pieces are presented through an analysis and interpretative proposal where the compositional criteria and various musical elements present in the pieces are detailed, in communion with their lyrics, emphasizing the authors' search to contribute integrally to Carranguera music and the repertoire of the electric bass guitar in the national scene.
