Earthquakes are the main source of dynamic loads on a structure according to earthquake resistant standard of Colombia (NSR-10) and Bogota is located in an area of medium seismic hazard, and because of this the structures have a high probability of present structural failure when subjected to these vibrations. One of the failures that may have a structure when subjected to an earthquake, is the failure by buckling in floor slabs, which is not evident in the traditional dynamic models because they consider the foundations of the building as recessed floor and does not allow the movement with which this phenomenon occurs, it is generally breaks located near the supports of the slabs and occurs when diagonal braces to the direction of the slab descend and ascend opposite. This project aims to determine the existence of failures in warpage slabs MultiDrive II building located in the race 59 No. 152B - 79 in Bogota, which has a type foundation piles for this purpose conduct a modal dynamic analysis of the structure; for this purpose the interaction soil-structure according to the models of the Russian standard SNIP 2.02.05-87 and V.A. model will take into account Ilichev-Yu.V. Mongolov-vm Shaevich whereby a predicting such faults will be achieved and determine which plates would be affected within the structure and magnitude of unequal to which displacements will undergo finally the same analysis was carried using the model traditional or embedded to achieve a comparison between results.
