La poética y la narrativa en la obra musical de Jorge Velosa: Fenómenos de la identidad, la cultura popular y los imaginarios del mundo de la vida

Abstract

The research that was carried out in the years 2019 and 2020 from the master's degree in communication and education, in its line of literature, started from the objective of analyzing the narrative and poetics in the musical work of the teacher Jorge Velosa and his contributions in the discussion to the Regarding the popular, the conception of identity in this type of music and the imaginary in the construction of the world of life. For the development of the aforementioned analysis, henomenology was established as a theoretical basis. This project focuses on the reflection and analysis of the problems related to identity, culture and regional imaginaries that seem to have entered a crisis in the face of policies and projections such as globalization. Much of our effort was focused on understanding the influence of music in globalized contexts, and then addressing the proposal of maestro Velosa as a possible form of resistance to these commercial dynamics, appropriation of subjectivity and sense of the human that are proposed in the capitalist world that surrounds us today.
