Resumen
Colombia is one of the countries that are currently immersed in corruption, a phenomenon that impedes the human, social, and economic growth, therefore, the purpose of this document is to spatially model this phenomenon through variables associated with the different sectors that it includes, such as the social, economic, educational, and health sectors, in addition to those related to the context that is evident daily, that is, the armed conflict and citizen security, all evaluating each of the departments of Colombia, including the capital Bogotá district, comprising a time lapse between 2000 and 2017. An experimental indicator was carried out by means of principal component analysis, associating four determinants that explained departmental corruption, a spatial autocorrelation analysis was also carried out using different local and global tests and integrating the different variables mentioned in spatial autoregressive and geographically weighted regression models. The results obtained show that the majority of the departments suffer corruption in at least one of the evaluated years, in addition, it establishes that all the valued sectors are part of this phenomenon, since their variables are considered and representative in a significant way in the regressive models that help explain the increase or decrease in the Departmental Corruption Index in the years studied.
