Resumen
This work deals with the practice of instrumental guitar teaching, as well as the formation of chamber groups and the theoretical-musical teaching, in students from eighth to eleventh grade of the Escuela Tecnológica Instituto Técnico Central in the city of Bogota. In addition, several exercises will be presented as well as original pedagogical materials created for the work in question, such as musical arrangements for chamber groups, adaptations of songs and arrangements and introductory exercises mainly oriented towards the mastery of musical reading on the acoustic guitar, and different teaching methodologies will be evaluated in the context of high school education. Within these topics, the present work investigates about the difficulties of music education in high school courses, how group teaching affects, as well as the diversity of instrumental levels among the different students of a single group, to instrumental teaching, and how to overcome these difficulties in such a particular and individualized teaching area as is the learning of a musical instrument. Likewise, the demands, challenges and virtues generated by the formation of chamber groups within a high school institution such as the Escuela Técnica Instituto Técnico Central and the possibilities of artistic practice with the students of this institution are explored with great rigor and enthusiasm.
