Abstract

The following project states that, The UDNet data network provided the opportunity to carry out an internship type degree project, in which it was required to make an information survey, diagnosis and intervention of the telecommunications rooms and a software where it could be Fill out the information collected following the model of the formats given by UDNet, at the UGI and Villa Esther Building of the Francisco José de Caldas District University. For the development of intervention at the UGI and Villa Esther buildings, a training was carried out, a survey of information was digitized and filled in the formats given by UDNet. After recording the information, the intervention plan was made in which it consisted of giving the diagnosis of the room, plans and network maps. Subsequently, the intervention was carried out, which is the marking of the network points and the end user. Each of these formats and information was supervised and reviewed by personnel authorized by the data network. Along with the development of the intervention, an information system called RALPH UDNET was created for the monitoring, inventory and control of the telecommunications rooms. This has a division of information gathering modules and Diagnoses and Intervention Plans.
