Resumen
Currently the use of resources at the institutional level and the environmental environment at work have had a reception of great importance at the governmental level for this reason have been generated planning instruments which seek to ensure compliance with the objectives of eco-efficiency, for this the Institutional Environmental Management Plan (PIGA) is taken as a tool for planning and analysis of the current situation in terms of environmental component of the institutions, this established by Decree 456 of 2008 (Establishes the Environmental Management Plan of the District), based on programs such as efficient use of water, efficient use of electricity, integrated management of solid waste, sustainable consumption and implementation of sustainable practices, therefore it becomes an objective to plan, execute and monitor the PIGA within the Institute, this through the consultation of the current regulations, making the diagnosis of the environmental situation of the entity, in which the identification of significant environmental aspects is generalized, giving tools for updating the programs of rational use within the Institute for Planning and Promotion of Energy Solutions for Non-Interconnected Zones, thus reducing the negative impacts that the entity is generating against the environment.
