Resumen
Since ancient times there has been talk of depression, and as time has passed the Medication use has been one of the treatments of this. The development of antidepressants is one of the methods that can be most effective in treating depression despite the effects side effects that these may cause. Studies conducted by INQA determined that the 1,2-diphenyl-2- (pyrrolidin-1-yl) ethanone would be a structure conducive to the inhibition of norepinephrine and dopamine reuptake using a neural network and molecular docking. According to the above, this research is aimed at obtaining an antidepressant, in which, to reach the final product, began with the synthesis of benzoin, and then obtained benzyl and, from the synthesis of these precursors, being able to obtain 1,2-diphenyl-2- (pyrrolidine-1-yl) ethanone, a derivative of catinone. With the products obtained in each synthesis, they performed the infrared and chromatoplate spectra. In addition, to corroborate these resultas different identification tests were made, with which it could be evidenced that it was arrived to the desired compound.
