Resumen
Nonmelanoma skin cancer is a disease that is rising every day, and is the first type of cancer in the world; one of its main causes is radiation exposure solar ultraviolet, this is why the workers who are outdoors like in the construction sector are a vulnerable group and it is for this reason that globally they are are implemented multiple prevention and control strategies in order to reduce the incidence of this pathology. With respect to Colombia, it is currently lagging behind in the follow-up of this disease compared to other countries, because although it has a system of epidemiological surveillance in occupational cancer does not identify it as high risk; this is why At present there are no identification, control and monitoring databases for this type of pathology in the labor sector.
